Dr. Bobbie McDonald, PsyD, QME is a clinical psychologist and Qualified Medical Evaluator with over 20 years of experience in psychological assessment and the field of workers’ compensation.

Dr. McDonald is the founder and CEO of Equity Evaluations, Inc., where she provides education, mentorship, and regulatory compliance support to QMEs across California. Her work focuses on helping medical professionals navigate the evolving demands of the workers’ compensation system and produce high-quality medical-legal reports.

She has also served as an educator for the California Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC), contributing to educational content on medical-legal reporting and QME standards.

In addition to her med-legal work, Dr. McDonald maintains a private practice specializing in the treatment of anxiety and trauma, offering evidence-based care for individuals coping with acute and chronic psychological stress.

She is an active leader in the medical-legal community and served as 2024 President of the California Society of Industrial Medicine and Surgery (CSIMS), where as a board member, she continues to support physician advocacy, education, and a strong interdisciplinary community.
