Bill Davis is a veteran attorney based in Hanna Brophy’s Santa Rosa office, where he devotes his practice exclusively to defending employers and insurance representatives in California workers’ compensation litigation. With over 30 years of legal experience, he has earned a reputation for his litigation skill and legal insight, particularly in complex and high-impact claims.

Bill began his career defending public entities in Federal civil rights cases and later represented businesses in civil suits. He also served as a corporate attorney and led an in-house legal department before transitioning to workers’ compensation defense. For the last two decades, he has defended claims on behalf of self-insureds, insurers, public entities, and TPAs.

In 2019, he was named Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney of the Year by the California Lawyer’s Association — a recognition of his impact on the field.
