Charles Lew is a Los Angeles-based attorney, entrepreneur, and civic leader operating at the intersection of law, innovation, and social impact. Raised and educated in Scotland, Charles was a world chess champion before the age of 13 and has trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 19 years, merging intellectual discipline with physical tenacity.
After a cross-country drive from Florida in a beat-up Dodge Ram, Charles landed in Los Angeles to attend Loyola Law School. His first job as a Hollywood bouncer introduced him to the city’s raw energy and diverse characters, igniting an entrepreneurial streak that would shape his future ventures. He is the co-founder of Stout Burgers & Beer, an award-winning LA eatery, and a founding partner in Boomtown Brewery, one of the Arts District’s anchor destinations.
As founder of The Lew Firm, Charles represents top-tier talent in entertainment, hospitality, and combat sports, including the legendary Vargas boxing family and a fast-rising roster of elite fighters. He is a partner at CEO 2 Health, where he champions regenerative health solutions like hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), and is currently launching AI-powered legal platforms in the landlord-tenant and HR sectors.
A Loyola Law Board member and the architect of its first Law of the Metaverse course, Charles is also a regular contributor to Entrepreneur Magazine, where he writes on the evolving role of artificial intelligence in legal practice. He serves as a Small Business Commissioner for the City of Los Angeles and sits on the boards of Mental Health America Los Angeles and AdoptTogether.
Beyond the courtroom and boardroom, Charles is a lifelong bookworm and unapologetic RPG nerd, happiest when neck-deep in an enthralling sci-fi novel.
