Evan Garcia is a Partner and Trial Attorney at the Simon Law Group. Evan heads our nationwide

Trucking Litigation and commonly pro hacs in for significant cases. He handles all types of

catastrophic injury cases trying numerous to multi-million-dollar verdicts. Evan also manages our

Texas practice since its inception in 2020. Evan is a proud member of JusticeHQ, a member-only

plaintiff’s organization of high caliber attorneys, and former Vice Chairman of its Board of

Directors. He is admitted to practice in California, Texas, and Arizona.

Prior to joining the JusticeTeam his practice primarily involved tax litigation for Fortune 1000

companies. As a plaintiff’s attorney, Evan has been instrumental in recovering over $75 million in

verdicts and settlements, including recent awards for $32.5M, $11M and $6M respectively. Recent

verdicts as lead trial counsel include 5.47 million dollars in San Joaquin County for a orthopedic

injuries in a disputed liability case; 3.09 million dollars in Los Angeles County for a cervical disc

replacement; 2.64 million dollars in Contra Costa county for a two-level decompression surgery;

and another 1.37M in Los Angeles County for a lumbar decompression surgery.

Evan has a Finance and Real Estate degree from the University of Pacific and played Division I

water polo for the Tigers. He then went on to earn his law degree from Thomas Jefferson School

of Law, along with several other of our Attorneys. During law school he was an active member of

the Alternative Dispute Resolution team and an Executive Board member of the Moot Court team.

Evan competed in the distinguished Duberstein Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition twice and

was an American College of Bankruptcy Distinguished Law Student 9th circuit nominee. He also

clerked for the Honorable Chief Judge Marvin Isgur of the Southern District of Texas and the Ft.

Bend County District Attorney’s office.

In his free time, Evan interests range from sports, to chess, to coaching his kid’s sport teams. Be

sure to ask him what pairs better with Shiner Bock, brisket or short ribs (preferably on the Golf

Course). But above all, he enjoys spending time with his Wife, Rhianna, and young sons Noah and

Benson and his little girl Camren Marie.
